Varaždin County is a region in northern Croatia. It is like a state or province. The main city and capital of the county is Varaždin.
The Drava river forms the northern border of the county. This river has three large reservoirs: Lake Ormož, Lake Varaždin, and Lake Dubrava. You can also find mountains here, like Ivanščica and Kalnik.

Varaždin County is split into different areas. These areas include cities, towns, and smaller communities called municipalities.
- The main city is Varaždin. It is the county capital.
- Other important towns are Ludbreg, Lepoglava, Ivanec, Novi Marof, and Varaždinske Toplice.
