Vee F. Browne is an American author who writes wonderful books for children. She was born in 1956 in Ganado, Arizona. She is a proud member of the Navajo Nation, coming from the Cottonwood and Tselani areas of Arizona. Her family belongs to the Bitter Water and Water Flows Together clans.
Vee Browne studied journalism at New Mexico State University. She later earned her Master's degree from Western New Mexico University in 1990. She has worked as a journalist for the Navajo-Hopi Observer newspaper. She also helps out as a referee for volleyball and basketball games through the Arizona Interscholastic Association.
