Vega 4 was an exciting Australian science fiction TV show. It first appeared on the ABC channel in 1968. Later, you could also watch it on the Seven Network. This show was actually a spin-off from an earlier series called The Interpretaris (from 1966). Vega 4 was the second part of a space adventure story. The final part was Phoenix Five, which came out in 1970.
The Mission to Save Earth
Earth Space Control found a big problem! A danger was coming from a far-off place called Galaxy Five. People thought about sending the old spaceship, the Interpretaris. But it wasn't ready for such a long trip. It couldn't travel all the way to Galaxy Five.
So, the President made a big decision. He ordered a brand-new spaceship to be built. This ship was called the Vega 4. It had never been tested before. But the Vega 4 was Earth's only hope. It was the only ship that could travel to Galaxy Five. Its mission was to save our planet from the unknown threat.
