Veliče Šumulikoski (born April 24, 1981) is a former professional football player from North Macedonia. He played as a central midfielder. He is very well-known in his country's football history because he is the third most capped player ever for the North Macedonia national football team. After retiring as a player, he became the director of football for the Czech club 1. FC Slovácko.

Playing Career Highlights
Veliče Šumulikoski played for many different football clubs during his career. He started playing professionally in 1999. He played in several countries, including Slovenia, the Czech Republic, Russia, Turkey, England, and China.
Time at Ipswich Town
In January 2008, Šumulikoski joined Ipswich Town, an English club. He moved from the Turkish club Bursaspor. He needed a special document called a work permit to play in England. He also needed international clearance, which is permission from football authorities in different countries. He made his first appearance for Ipswich in February 2008. He came on as a substitute in a match against Sheffield Wednesday. Later that month, he scored his first goal for Ipswich in a game against Blackpool F.C..
Moving to Preston North End
In August 2009, Šumulikoski signed a three-year contract with Preston North End. He played 15 games for Preston. However, after the manager who signed him left, he played less often. In May 2010, he left Preston North End. After that, he briefly trained with another English club, Leeds United.
Playing in Russia and China
In August 2010, Šumulikoski moved to Russia and joined Sibir Novosibirsk. His teammates even voted for him to become the team captain before the 2011 season started. In February 2012, he moved to China to play for Tianjin Teda F.C.. He played his first official game for Tianjin in the 2012 Chinese FA Super Cup. He left the Chinese club in January 2013.
Return to Slovácko
After his time in China, Šumulikoski returned to the Czech Republic. He signed with 1. FC Slovácko, a club he had played for earlier in his career (when it was known as Synot). He played for Slovácko from 2013 until he retired from playing in 2018.
International Career
Veliče Šumulikoski also had a long and successful career playing for his country, Macedonia. He made his first appearance for the senior national team in July 2000. This was in a friendly match against Azerbaijan. He played a total of 84 games for his country, which is a lot! He scored one goal for the national team. His last game for Macedonia was in June 2013, in a friendly match against Norway.
Life After Playing
After he stopped playing professional football in 2018, Veliče Šumulikoski continued his career in the sport. He became the director of football for 1. FC Slovácko, the same Czech club where he finished his playing career. In this role, he helps manage the club's football operations, like signing new players and overseeing the team's development.
