Viacheslav "Slava" Kravtsov (born August 25, 1987) is a professional basketball player from Ukraine. He plays as a center for the Borneo Hornbills in the Indonesian Basketball League (IBL). He also plays for the Ukrainian national basketball team.

Slava's Basketball Journey
Starting in Ukraine
Slava Kravtsov began his professional basketball career in Ukraine. He played for BC Kyiv from 2005 to 2010. In 2009, he hoped to join the NBA in the United States, but he was not chosen by any team. So, he returned to BC Kyiv for another season.
In July 2010, he joined the Boston Celtics for a special summer tournament called the NBA Summer League. After that, he played for another Ukrainian team, BC Donetsk, from 2010 to 2012.
Playing in the NBA
On July 14, 2012, Kravtsov signed a contract with the Detroit Pistons. This was his first time playing in the NBA.
In July 2013, he was part of a trade. He moved to the Phoenix Suns team. He played for the Suns until March 2014, when his contract ended.
Adventures Around the World
After his time in the NBA, Kravtsov played for teams in different countries. In September 2014, he signed with the Foshan Dralions in China for the 2014–15 season.
In July 2015, he joined the Milwaukee Bucks for the Summer League again. Later that year, in September 2015, he signed a short contract with PBC CSKA Moscow in Russia. He helped them out when one of their players was injured.
In December 2015, he moved to Spain to play for CAI Zaragoza. He played well there, averaging 11.1 points and 6.5 rebounds in the Eurocup games.
He returned to Spain in October 2016 to play for Valencia Basket. With Valencia, he became a champion of the Liga ACB in 2017, which is a big achievement in Spanish basketball. His contract with Valencia ended in June 2017.
More International Teams
In July 2017, Kravtsov signed with a Turkish team, Eskişehir Basket, for the 2017–18 season. The next year, in July 2018, he signed with San Pablo Burgos, another Spanish team.
From 2019 to 2020, he played in Japan for San-en NeoPhoenix. He had good stats there, averaging 13.8 points and 7.5 rebounds per game. In September 2020, he returned to Ukraine to play for BC Dnipro in the Ukrainian Basketball SuperLeague.
More recently, he played for CB Menorca in 2022 and the Kaohsiung Steelers from 2022 to 2023. Since 2025, he has been playing for the Borneo Hornbills in Indonesia.
Playing for His Country
Slava Kravtsov is also an important player for the Ukrainian national basketball team. In 2013, he helped his team qualify for the 2014 FIBA Basketball World Cup. This was the first time Ukraine had qualified for this big tournament since the Soviet Union broke up.
During the 2013 EuroBasket tournament, he was the best player in terms of blocks, averaging two blocks per game. At the 2014 FIBA World Cup, he averaged 7.4 points and 5.6 rebounds per game for Ukraine.
