Viacheslav "Slava" Kravtsov, born on August 25, 1987, is a professional basketball player from Ukraine. He plays the center position. Slava has played for many teams around the world and also represents his home country, Ukraine, in international basketball games.

Slava's Basketball Journey
Slava started his professional basketball journey in Ukraine. He played for BC Kyiv from 2005 to 2010. In 2009, he put his name forward for the NBA draft, hoping to join a team in the United States. When he wasn't picked, he went back to play one more season with Kyiv. Later, in 2010, he joined the Boston Celtics for a short time during the NBA Summer League. After that, he played for BC Donetsk until 2012.
Playing in the NBA
In 2012, Slava got his chance to play in the NBA, signing with the Detroit Pistons. He played 25 games for them during the 2012–13 season. He later moved to other NBA teams. In 2013, he was traded to the Milwaukee Bucks, and then to the Phoenix Suns. He played 20 games for the Suns before leaving the NBA in 2014.
Playing Around the World
After his time in the NBA, Slava played for teams in different countries.
- China: In 2014, he joined the Foshan Dralions in China for a season.
- Russia: In 2015, he signed a short contract with CSKA Moscow in Russia.
- Spain: He then moved to Spain, playing for CAI Zaragoza in 2016. He played well, averaging 11.1 points and 6.5 rebounds in the Eurocup games. He returned to Spain in 2016 to play for Valencia Basket, where he won the Liga ACB championship in 2017.
- Turkey: In 2017, Slava signed with the Turkish team Eskişehir Basket.
- Spain (again): In 2018, he returned to Spain to play for San Pablo Burgos and then Fuenlabrada.
- Japan: From 2019 to 2020, he played in Japan for San-en NeoPhoenix, where he averaged 13.8 points and 7.5 rebounds per game.
- Ukraine (again): In 2020, Slava went back to Ukraine to play for BC Dnipro in the Ukrainian Basketball SuperLeague.
- Taiwan: More recently, he has played for the Kaohsiung Steelers in Taiwan.
International Games
Slava has proudly represented the Ukrainian national basketball team in many international competitions.
- In 2013, he helped Ukraine qualify for their first FIBA World Cup since the Soviet Union broke up. He was the best player in the 2013 EuroBasket tournament for blocking shots, averaging two blocks per game.
- At the 2014 FIBA World Cup, he averaged 7.4 points and 5.6 rebounds per game.
