Victoire Sidémého Dzidudu Dogbé Tomegah was born on January 23, 1959. She is a very important politician from Togo, a country in West Africa. Since 2020, she has been the 13th Prime Minister of Togo. This is a big deal because she is the first woman ever to hold this powerful position in her country!
Before becoming Prime Minister, Victoire Tomegah Dogbé worked in other important roles. She was the Minister of Grassroots Development, Handicrafts, Youth and Youth Employment. This means she helped people in local communities, supported traditional crafts, and created jobs for young people. She also worked closely with the President, Faure Gnassingbé, as his Cabinet Director.
In March 2024, Togo made a big change to its government. The country switched from a presidential system to a parliamentary one. In a presidential system, the president has the most power. But in a parliamentary system, the prime minister becomes the most powerful leader. The prime minister's job was even renamed "President of the Council of Ministers." After this change, President Gnassingbé chose Victoire Tomegah Dogbé to continue as prime minister under the new rules in August.

Early Steps in Public Service
In 2008, Victoire Tomegah Dogbé was working for the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Benin. The UNDP is a part of the United Nations that helps countries develop and improve. While she was there, the President of Togo, Faure Essozimna Gnassingbé, and the Prime Minister, Gilbert Houngbo, asked her to come back to Togo. They wanted her to manage a new government department. This department focused on "development at the base," which means helping communities and people at the local level.
Becoming a Minister
In 2010, President Faure Gnassingbé was re-elected. Victoire Tomegah Dogbé was then appointed as the Minister of Grassroots Development, Youth Craft and Youth Employment. She kept this important job for many years. She continued to serve in this role under different prime ministers, including Gilbert Houngbo and Kwesi Ahoomey-Zunu.
After the presidential election in April 2015, Komi Sélom Klassou became the new prime minister. He formed his government in June 2015, and Victoire Tomegah Dogbé continued to lead the Ministry of Development at the Base, crafts, youth and youth employment. This shows how much trust different leaders had in her abilities.
