Victor L. Williams (born September 19, 1970) is an American actor. He is most famous for playing Deacon Palmer, the best friend of Doug Heffernan (played by Kevin James), on the TV show The King of Queens.
Victor Williams has also appeared in many other popular TV shows. These include Homicide: Life on the Street, Law & Order, ER, and Fringe. In 2012, he was featured in commercials for Verizon Fios television.

Victor Williams' Early Life and Education
Victor Williams was born in Brooklyn, New York. He went to Midwood High School, where he was a tall basketball player, standing at 6 feet 5.5 inches (1.97 meters).
After high school, he attended Binghamton University in Upstate New York. He then earned a special degree called a Master of Fine Arts in acting. He got this degree from New York University's Graduate Acting Program.
Victor Williams' Acting Career in Television
Victor Williams has had many roles in television. His most well-known role was as Deacon Palmer on The King of Queens. He was a main character on this show from 1998 to 2007.
He also had important roles in other series. For example, he played Roger McGrath in ER and Detective Jeffries in The Affair. More recently, he was a main cast member in Happy Together from 2018 to 2019. In 2023, he joined the main cast of Justified: City Primeval.
