Vincuk Viačorka, born on July 7, 1961, is a well-known person from Belarus. He is a linguist, which means he studies languages. He is also a politician and used to lead a political group called the Belarusian Popular Front (BNF). This group was part of the opposition, meaning they offered different ideas from the government. His full name is Valancin Ryhoravič Viačorka, but Vincuk is a common nickname for Valancin.

Early Life and Education
Vincuk Viačorka was born in the city of Brest in western Belarus. This happened on July 7, 1961.
He went to the Belarusian State University and studied languages there. He finished his studies in 1983. Later, he continued learning about languages at the Institute of Linguistics. This institute is part of the Belarusian Academy of Sciences. He completed his studies there in 1986.
Professional and Political Journey
Vincuk Viačorka worked as a professor at two universities. These were the Maxim Tank Belarusian State Pedagogical University and the Belarusian Humanities Lyceum. He also worked as a journalist. He was a deputy chief editor for a cultural magazine called Spadčyna.
Early Activism
Since 1979, Vincuk Viačorka has been very active. He joined a movement that supported national democracy in Belarus. He helped start several youth groups. These groups focused on culture and included Majstroŭnia (from 1979 to 1984) and Talaka (from 1986 to 1989). He also helped create the Confederation of Belarusian Youth Organisations. This group was active between 1988 and 1989.
Role in Belarusian Popular Front
In 1988, Vincuk Viačorka helped create the Belarusian Popular Front. This was an important political party. He was in charge of writing the party's main documents. He was also a member of the party's central board. From 1995 to 1999, he served as the deputy head of the BPF.
In 1999, he helped organize a big protest. It was called the Freedom March. People were protesting against the idea of Belarus joining with Russia.
Other Work
Vincuk Viačorka also started and leads an educational group. This group is a non-governmental organization (NGO). It is called the Supolnaść Centre. From 1999 to 2000, he led a working group for the NGO Assembly of Belarus.
Family Life
Vincuk Viačorka can speak several European languages. He is married and has two daughters and one son. His wife, Aryna, is a mathematician. His son, Franak, is also active in youth movements for the BNF. Franak used to be a student at the Belarusian Humanities Lyceum. Both Vincuk and his son appeared in a 2006 movie. The movie was a documentary called A Lesson of Belarusian.
