Viviana Gibelli's Life Story
Viviana's father has roots from Brazil and Italy, and her mother is from Cuba. She grew up with two brothers and often says she prefers having male friends because of this.
Early Career and Beauty Pageants
In 1987, Viviana represented the Monagas state in the Miss Venezuela beauty pageant. She finished as the fourth runner-up in this national contest. After that, she began her career as a fashion model. She also competed in the Miss Wonderland 1987 contest, where she was crowned "Queen of the American Continent."
Moving into Television
Viviana soon started working on different TV shows. Her first show was Complicidades, a daytime program for women. Later, she hosted children's shows and acted in telenovelas, which are like long TV dramas. She even filmed several TV shows in Costa Rica in 2003.
Acting Roles and Popular Shows
Viviana has acted in five telenovelas. One of her most famous roles was in Gata Salvaje (Wild Cat), filmed in 2002. This show was popular around the world. In Venezuela, she had big hits with El Pais de las Mujeres (The Country of Women) and Kaina, where she played important main characters. She has also appeared in one Venezuelan movie.
Viviana is a well-known face on the Venevisión network. She hosted a talk show called Viviana a la Media Noche (Viviana at Midnight). She was also a host on the very popular Venezuelan TV show La Guerra de Los Sexos (Battle of the Sexes).
