Vladimir Spivakov (born September 12, 1944) is a famous Russian conductor and violinist. He is well-known for leading the Moscow Virtuosi chamber orchestra. A chamber orchestra is a smaller group of musicians. Spivakov is considered one of the best violinists of his time.

He was born in Ufa, a city in Russia. He learned to play the violin from a great teacher, Yuri Yankelevich, at the Moscow Conservatory. This is a very famous music school.

Today, Vladimir Spivakov is the main leader and conductor of the National Philharmonic of Russia. He also helped create the music for the animated movie The Ugly Duckling in 2010.
