Vladimir Tsyplakov was a talented Belarusian professional ice hockey player. He was known for playing as a winger, which is a forward position in hockey. Vladimir was born on April 18, 1969, and sadly passed away on December 14, 2019, at the age of 50.
He was chosen by the Los Angeles Kings in the 1995 NHL Draft. This is a special event where NHL teams pick new players. After his playing days, Vladimir also became an assistant coach for the Belarus men's national ice hockey team.

Playing Hockey Around the World
Vladimir Tsyplakov started his hockey journey in the Soviet Union. He played for teams like Torpedo Yaroslavl and HC Dynamo Minsk for six seasons. After that, he moved to the United States and played for three seasons in the International Hockey League.
Joining the NHL
Vladimir made his big debut in the National Hockey League (NHL) with the Los Angeles Kings during the 1995–96 season. He played for the Kings for several years. Later, he was traded to the Buffalo Sabres during the 1999–2000 season.
Returning to Russia
