The Volkswagen Golf Mk4 is a popular car from Volkswagen. It's the fourth version of the Volkswagen Golf, a type of compact car. This car came out in 1997, taking over from the Mk3 model. Different Styles of the Golf Mk4

The Volkswagen Golf Mk4 came in a few different shapes. This allowed people to choose the style that best suited them.

Engine Choices

The Golf Mk4 offered different types of engines. These engines gave the car various levels of power. Drivers could choose between petrol (gasoline) or diesel engines. Each engine had a different amount of horsepower (hp), which tells you how powerful the engine is.

Petrol Engines

The petrol engines ranged from smaller ones, like the 1.4-liter engine with 75 hp, to much more powerful ones, such as the 3.2-liter R32 engine with 241 hp. This meant there was a Golf Mk4 for many different driving needs.

Diesel Engines

Diesel engines were also available. These engines are often known for being good on fuel. The diesel options for the Golf Mk4 started with a 1.9-liter SDI engine with 68 hp. More powerful diesel engines, like the 1.9-liter TDI, could produce up to 150 hp.
