What is the Economy Like?
One of the towns in Vuelta de Jorco is called La Uruca. Every year, between July and August, La Uruca hosts a fun event. It's called the Feria Nacional del Jocote, which means the National Fair of the Jocote. This festival celebrates the jocote fruit, which is a small, plum-like fruit. It is one of the best traditional festivals during Costa Rica's rainy season.
