The Amtrak train called the Empire Builder goes through Wagner. This train travels between big cities like Seattle, Portland, and Chicago. It uses the BNSF train tracks. However, the Empire Builder does not stop in Wagner. The closest train station is in Malta. Malta is about 11 miles (18 kilometers) to the east of Wagner.
