Waiting For Gumball is a fun series of 13 short cartoon episodes. These shorts are based on the popular show The Amazing World of Gumball, especially an episode called "The Puppets". You could first watch these shorts on the American Cartoon Network website starting October 8, 2017.

Storyline
The story follows the adventures of two main characters, Gumball and Darwin. They find themselves in a strange world filled with puppets! Meanwhile, three puppet characters named Grady, Frank, and Howdy are trying to find fun things to do while they wait for Gumball and Darwin to arrive.

Weird Food
Gumball and Darwin find some strange purple food. Gumball thinks he's seen it in his dreams and eats it. Darwin asks if anything weird happened, but Gumball just acts like it's no big deal.
Pineapple
Gumball believes he's allergic to himself! He accidentally sneezes his mouth onto a pineapple. The pineapple is about to sing when Darwin quickly puts Gumball's mouth back. The pineapple says it was the best day ever, but Gumball and Darwin wonder if they imagined it.
Infinite Loop
Gumball and Darwin discover they are hand puppets for other hand puppets. It's a funny loop of puppets!
BirdPlaneBird
Darwin tries to share his drink with a character called BirdPlaneBird.
Insulting Voices
Gumball makes Darwin upset with his puppet's voice. So, Darwin decides to get back at Gumball by using a silly voice on him too.
Beards
Darwin accidentally imagines a beard on himself. Gumball then tries to help him with his new imaginary beard.
Gnomes
Darwin imagines a gnome. Gumball tries to imagine something different, but he keeps imagining gnomes too!
Cool to be Felt
Darwin and Gumball touch each other and describe how it feels.
Clean
Grady wants his friends to help him clean the house. But his friends are busy playing video games and don't want to help.
Spoons
Grady has lost his special spoon, and Frank has it! Frank thinks the spoon is a balloon and won't give it back. They have a dance battle to decide who gets it. In the end, Keyboard Dog wins the spoon. Grady gets angry and breaks the spoon. Frank then shows Grady his big collection of spoons to make him feel better.
Bored
Frank is feeling very bored and keeps bothering Grady and Howdy. They try to entertain him, but nothing works. Finally, Frank realizes he wasn't bored, just sleepy! Grady and Howdy tell him to go to sleep, and he falls asleep right on the floor.
Telly
Grady and Howdy want to create a TV show. They can't decide if it should be a serious documentary or a fun show. They ask Frank for his opinion, but he doesn't help much. In the end, Grady decides to make a documentary about mud. Howdy, who still wants a fun show, becomes his guest. Grady ends up covered in mud, but he doesn't mind because the audience loves their show!
Grump
Howdy, Grady, and Frank plan a party for Gumball and Darwin. Frank is very sad when Gumball and Darwin don't show up. After Frank sings a sad song, Gumball and Darwin finally find the puppets, and Frank becomes happy again.
