Communities Served
The council looked after Yarralin, which was its main center. It also helped four other communities:
- Lingara, about 40 kilometers from Yarralin.
- Pigeon Hole, about 98 kilometers from Yarralin.
- Yinguwinarri, about 131 kilometers from Yarralin.
- Kulumanbulani, about 20 kilometers from Pigeon Hole.
People Living in the Area
About 550 people lived in these communities. Different family groups were strong in different places:
- The Naringman people were a big part of the Yarralin community.
- The Munburra people mainly lived in Yinguwinarri.
- The Bilandala people were mostly found in Pigeon Hole.
