Wanda Nero Butler's Music Career
Wanda Nero Butler began her music career in 1988. Her first album was called Reach for His Love. It was released by Sog Secret and became a hit. This album reached No. 34 on the Billboard Gospel Albums chart.
Her next album, New Born Soul, came out in 1990. It was also very popular, reaching No. 11 on the same chart. In 1991, she released two albums with Light Records. These were Wanda and Live in Atlanta. While Wanda did not chart, Live in Atlanta reached No. 22.
Later, Wanda Nero Butler released more albums with Sound of Gospel. Chike-Anyabwille was released in 1994 and reached No. 11. In 1996, she released All to the Glory of God, which peaked at No. 12. Her album Family Prayer came out in 1999. It also reached No. 11 on the Gospel Albums chart.
