Warren Andrew Ward (born November 16, 1989) is a Canadian professional basketball player. He has played for different teams in Canada and Spain. Warren is known for his skills as a shooting guard. He also played college basketball for the University of Ottawa.

College Basketball Journey
Warren Ward played basketball for the University of Ottawa. He was a very important player for his college team, the Gee-Gees. When he finished his college career, he was the second-highest scorer in the team's history. In his last season, he scored about 18 points per game. He also grabbed about 8 rebounds and made almost 4 assists per game.
Professional Basketball Career
Warren Ward started his professional basketball journey in 2013. He played for teams in Germany and France before returning to Canada.
Playing in Canada
On January 9, 2015, Warren joined the Mississauga Power team. This team is part of the National Basketball League of Canada (NBL Canada). Just one day later, he played his first game. He scored 17 points and got 9 rebounds. Warren had a great game on January 15, grabbing 12 rebounds. He also scored his season-best 28 points in another game, where he also got 11 rebounds.
Later that year, on September 8, 2015, Warren signed with the London Lightning. This team was coached by Kyle Julius, who had also coached him at the Mississauga Power. Coach Julius said that Warren brought a strong mindset and professional attitude to the team. He believed Warren would help the younger players and keep the team playing at a high level. After this season, Warren was named the Canadian of the Year. This award goes to the best Canadian player in the league.
Warren then played for the Windsor Express during the 2016–17 season.
Playing in Spain
After playing in Canada, Warren Ward moved to Spain. He joined the team Cáceres Patrimonio de la Humanidad. This team plays in the Spanish LEB Oro, which is Spain's second-highest basketball league.
Representing Canada
Warren Ward has also played for the Canadian national basketball team. He represented his country in big international events. He played in the 2011 Pan American Games. He also competed in the 2011 Summer Universiade. At the Universiade, his team played very well and won the silver medal. This means they finished in second place.
