After his time on The Simpsons, Wes became a supervising director for King of the Hill. This means he helped guide how the animation and stories were put together. Even before his big TV career, Wes made a college animation film called "Jac Mac and Rad Boy, Go!". This film became very popular and was shown many times on a TV show called Night Flight in the 1980s. He studied animation at a famous art school called CalArts.
