William Joseph McMurray (born February 26, 1882 – died January 26, 1945) was an American baseball player. He was a talented catcher, which is a very important position in baseball. McMurray played during a time before the official Negro leagues were fully established. He spent most of his baseball career playing for two teams: the St. Paul Colored Gophers and the West Baden Sprudels.

Will McMurray was born in St. Louis, Missouri. He started his professional baseball career in 1908. His first team was the St. Paul Colored Gophers. He played with them for several seasons, from 1908 to 1911.
