Will Robinson, born on February 20, 1971, is an Australian rugby league player. He played professionally in both Australia and England.

Will Robinson's Rugby Career

Will Robinson started his professional rugby league journey in 1990. He played for the Balmain Tigers team. His very first game was against the Newcastle Knights.

Playing for Australia

In 1992, Will Robinson joined the Australian Aboriginal rugby league team. He played with them in the 1992 Pacific Cup tournament. He performed so well that he was chosen for the "team of the tournament." This meant he was one of the best players there.

Changing Positions

During his time with the Balmain Tigers, Will played in different positions. He often played as a five-eighth or halfback. These are key roles where players help direct the team's attack. In his last year with the Tigers, 1994, he moved to play in the centres.

Moving to New Teams

After leaving the Balmain Tigers, Will Robinson played for two seasons with the South Sydney Rabbitohs. Here, he also played as a hooker. From 1997 to 1998, he played for the Illawarra Steelers.

Final Game for Illawarra

Will Robinson was part of a special game for the Illawarra Steelers. He played in their very last game in the top league. This game was against Canterbury-Bankstown in 1998. The Steelers narrowly lost the game by one point, 25-24.

Playing in England

After his time in Australia, Will Robinson moved to England. In 1999, he played for the Gateshead Thunder. The next year, in 2000, he joined the Hull FC team.

Return to Coonabarabran

Later, Will Robinson went back to his hometown of Coonabarabran in Australia. There, he played for the local team, the Unicorns. In 2003, he helped lead the Unicorns to win their first-ever Group 4 First Grade Premiership. They won against the North Tamworth Bears.
