William Murdoch Adamson (born 12 April 1881 – died 25 October 1945) was an important British politician. He was a member of the Labour Party. This party works to improve the lives of working people.

William Adamson was also a leader in a big group called the Transport and General Workers' Union. This union helped workers in transport and other jobs. In 1902, he married Jennie Johnston. She later became a Member of Parliament too, representing areas like Dartford and Bexley.
