Williamsdale is found in the southern part of St. Clair Township. It sits just north of another small village called New Miami. The community is in the valley of the Great Miami River. However, it does not directly touch the river itself.

A major road, U.S. Route 127, runs along the western edge of Williamsdale. This road goes south to New Miami and then to the city of Hamilton. If you travel north on Route 127, you will reach Eaton. The community of Overpeck is located directly northeast of Williamsdale. You can find it along Hamilton Trenton Road.
