Andrés Felipe Zapata Gaviria (born December 21, 1978), known as Wolfine, is a singer and songwriter from Medellín, Colombia. He has worked with many international artists. Some of these include Ñengo Flow, Julio Voltio, Kafu Banton, and Nicky Jam.
After some time away from music, Wolfine made a big comeback in 2017. His song "Bella" became a huge global success. It was streamed over 300 million times on Spotify. The music video also got more than 790 million views on YouTube. "Bella" is his most popular song ever. It even reached number 12 on the Billboard Latin Pop Airplay chart.

Wolfine's Early Life
Andrés is the oldest of three brothers. They grew up in Medellín, Colombia. His father was a chemist who owned a drugstore. His mother was one of the first people to sell hot dogs from a cart in Medellín.
Wolfine and his brothers often helped their mom sell hot dogs. They would even run a long cable from their house to power the cart. This showed their hard work from a young age.
How Wolfine Started in Music
Wolfine's first music experience came from a CD with two songs. He didn't have a CD player at first. He bought a tape recorder from a neighbor to listen to the music.
He would listen to the songs and try to sing along. He later learned what the words meant. A person named Funkat noticed his interest in music. Funkat started giving Wolfine more music on cassettes. He also told him stories about rap artists.
Wolfine then began recording his own songs. He used his mother's recorder and the music from that first CD. He would listen to the melodies and write his own songs in Spanish.
In 1998, Wolfine started performing in Medellín. He was part of groups like Komplot and RH Klandestino. He performed at big festivals in Colombia. People loved his energy on stage. Wolfine was also one of the first urban artists to have his music videos played on Latin MTV.
Wolfine's Music Career
In 2008, Wolfine tried acting. He had a role in the movie "Hoy Martes." This film was made in Medellin, Colombia. After this, he released his first reggaeton song called "Si Te Toco." This song quickly became very popular in Medellín. It was the number one song for several months. It helped him connect with young urban music fans.
