Woodhaven is a friendly neighborhood located in Fort Worth, Texas, in the United States. It's easy to find, right where Interstate 30 and Loop 820 East meet. To the north, you'll find the Trinity River. To the south, it's near the old studios of CBS Channel 11 KTVT.

In 1969, a group of people who invested money, including Governor of Texas John Connally, bought a large piece of land. This land was part of the Boaz Ranch Estate. On April 14, 1969, they announced their plan to build a new community there.

Building homes in Woodhaven started in the 1970s. The country club, which is so important to the neighborhood, opened its doors on July 3, 1973. A professional golfer named Terry Dill even helped design the golf course! Later, in 1998, the people living in Woodhaven created a group called Woodhaven Community Development, Inc. This group helps improve the neighborhood.
