Woodville is a small place in Clermont County, Ohio, in the United States. It's called an unincorporated community because it doesn't have its own local government like a city or village does. Instead, it's part of the larger Clermont County.
The Story of Woodville
Woodville was started in 1828 by a person named Jesse Wood. He planned out the community, and it was named after him. For a while, it was also known as West Woodville.
A post office, which is where people send and receive mail, opened in West Woodville in 1837. This post office helped the community stay connected until it closed down in 1906.
