The Worsley River is a small river located in the South West part of Western Australia. It starts in the Darling Range, about 2 kilometers south of an old timber town also called Worsley. From there, it flows towards the east and then south. Eventually, it joins the Collie River in a place called Wellington Reservoir.

Where Does the Worsley River Flow?
The Worsley River is not very long, only about 4 kilometers. It begins in the hills of the Darling Range. This area is known for its beautiful forests. The river then travels east and south. Its journey ends when it flows into the Collie River. This happens inside the Wellington Reservoir.
How the Worsley River Got Its Name
The Worsley River was named after a person called Lord Worsley. He was an important supporter of a group called the Western Australian Land and Emigration Committee. This committee helped people move to the Swan River Colony in Western Australia.
Lord Worsley's committee also helped start a special land project. It was called the Australind settlement. This project began in 1841. The name "Worsley" was first written down on maps in 1845, after surveys were done in the area.
