Early Life and Music Start
Kevin Adams Jr. was born and grew up in Chattanooga, Tennessee. His father was a Baptist preacher, and his mother was a gospel singer. Kevin often went to church and played the organ or drums after services.
He started rapping when he was about 13 or 14 years old. This happened after his dad took him to a music studio. Around 2010, he began studying at Middle Tennessee State University. There, he met another artist named Isaiah Rashad. They both decided to leave college and move back to Chattanooga. They wanted to focus on making music full-time.
