Yareli Arizmendi (born 1964) is a talented Mexican actress, writer, and director. She is known for her work in both movies and television.
Yareli was born in Mexico City, Mexico. She later moved to Kansas for high school. After that, she studied at the University of California, San Diego. There, she earned degrees in Political Science and Theatre.

Acting and Writing Career
Yareli Arizmendi has had a busy career in entertainment. She played the character Rosaura in the famous film Like Water for Chocolate. This movie was based on a book by Laura Esquivel.
Creating Her Own Stories
Yareli also helped create the movie A Day Without a Mexican. For this film, she co-wrote the story, helped produce it, and also acted in it as Lila Rodriguez.
She even performed a special one-woman show called Nostalgia Maldita: 1-900 Mexico. This unique show was performed while she was on a stairmaster! It was later shown on a TV series called Heritage.
