Yassin Ayoub (born on March 6, 1994) is a professional footballer. He plays as a midfielder, which means he helps both defend and attack on the field. Yassin was born in Morocco, but he played for the Netherlands' national youth teams.

Playing for Clubs

Early Career at Utrecht

Yassin Ayoub started his professional career at Utrecht. He joined their youth academy in 2008 and worked his way up. He played for Utrecht from 2012 to 2018. During his time there, he played in 132 games and scored 16 goals.

Moving to Feyenoord

In January 2018, Yassin signed a contract to join Feyenoord, another big club in the Netherlands. He officially started playing for them on July 1, 2018. He played 19 games for Feyenoord and scored 2 goals before moving on.

Time in Greece with Panathinaikos

After his time at Feyenoord, Yassin moved to Greece. On January 22, 2020, he signed a contract with Panathinaikos. He played 16 games for the Greek club.

Return to the Netherlands with Excelsior
