Yasunori Takada (高田 保則, Takada Yasunori, born February 22, 1979) is a former Japanese football player. He played as a forward, which means he was one of the main attackers on the team. Takada spent many years playing for different clubs in Japan. He also represented Japan in international youth tournaments.
Playing for Clubs
Yasunori Takada was born in Yokohama, Japan, on February 22, 1979. He started his journey in professional football with Bellmare Hiratsuka. He joined their youth team in 1994 and then moved up to the main team in 1997.
Takada made his first appearance for the senior team in 1998. From 1999, he started playing in many matches. This was because the club faced some money problems, which meant more young players got a chance to play. At the end of the 1999 season, the club moved down to the J2 League. This is the second-highest division in Japanese professional football.
He became a regular player for Shonan Bellmare from 2001. This means he was a key part of the team. However, in 2005, he didn't get to play as much. So, in September 2005, he moved to another club called Yokohama FC.
In 2006, Takada joined Thespa Kusatsu. Here, he once again became a regular player, showing his skills on the field. He played for Thespa Kusatsu until the end of the 2010 season, when he decided to retire from playing professional football. Throughout his club career, Takada played in 440 matches and scored 79 goals.
Playing for Japan's National Team
