Yeso is a very small, quiet village in De Baca County, New Mexico, United States. It's located in a desert area along U.S. Route 60, which is west of Fort Sumner. Yeso is an unincorporated community, meaning it doesn't have its own local government like a city or town. Today, the only business in Yeso is its post office, which serves the zip code 88136. There are also only about half a dozen houses in the village.
