Yoshiki Nakai (中井 義樹, born January 4, 1983) is a former Japanese football player. He played as a midfielder for several clubs during his career. He was known for his dedication on the field.

Yoshiki Nakai's Football Journey

Yoshiki Nakai started his professional football career in 2001. He joined Cerezo Osaka, a team in Japan's top league, the J1 League. In his first year, he didn't play in any matches. His team, Cerezo Osaka, was moved down to the J2 League at the end of 2001.

Playing in the J2 League

In April 2002, Yoshiki made his first appearance in a professional match. He played several games as a midfielder for Cerezo Osaka. His team did well and moved back up to the J1 League by the end of 2002. However, from 2003 onwards, he didn't get to play much for Cerezo Osaka.

In 2006, Yoshiki moved to another J2 League club called Thespa Kusatsu. Here, he quickly became a regular player. He played many matches as a defensive midfielder during the 2006 season. But in 2007, he again found himself playing less.

Moving to the Japan Football League

In July 2007, Yoshiki joined Sagawa Printing. This team played in the Japan Football League (JFL), which is a league below J1 and J2. At Sagawa Printing, he became a regular player once more. He played many games for them until 2010.

In 2011, he moved to another JFL club, V-Varen Nagasaki. He was a regular player there in 2011. However, in 2012, he didn't play as many matches. V-Varen Nagasaki won the JFL championship in 2012. This meant they were promoted to the J2 League for 2013. But Yoshiki left the club before playing in J2.

Returning to SP Kyoto and Retirement

In 2013, Yoshiki Nakai went back to Sagawa Printing (which was later known as SP Kyoto FC). He played many matches for them until 2015. At the end of the 2015 season, the club was closed down. Yoshiki Nakai then decided to retire from professional football.
