Yoshikiyo Kuboyama (久保山 由清, Kuboyama Yoshikiyo, born July 21, 1976) is a former Japanese football player. He played as a forward, which means he was a player who mainly tried to score goals. Kuboyama had a successful career playing for two major Japanese clubs, Yokohama Flügels and Shimizu S-Pulse. After retiring as a player, he became a coach.

Playing Career: Scoring Goals on the Field
Yoshikiyo Kuboyama was born in Yaizu, Japan, on July 21, 1976. After finishing high school, he joined the Yokohama Flügels football team in 1995. He played his first game that year. For a few years, he didn't play much.
By late 1998, Kuboyama became a regular player for the team. He helped his team win the Emperor's Cup, a big football tournament in Japan. In the final game, he even scored a goal against Shimizu S-Pulse. Sadly, the Yokohama Flügels team had to close down at the end of 1998.
In 1999, Kuboyama moved to his hometown team, Shimizu S-Pulse. He quickly became a key player there. In his first season with Shimizu S-Pulse, he scored 12 goals. His team finished second in the J1 League, which is the top football league in Japan.
Kuboyama continued to achieve great things with Shimizu S-Pulse. The team won the Asian Cup Winners' Cup in 2000. They also won the Emperor's Cup in 2001. He played many games for the team. Unfortunately, an injury in 2007 stopped him from playing. He decided to retire from playing football at the end of that year.
Coaching Career: Guiding Future Stars
After he stopped playing, Kuboyama began a new chapter in his football journey. In 2008, he started coaching at Shimizu S-Pulse, the same club where he played for many years.
He spent several years coaching the youth teams. This meant he helped young, aspiring footballers learn and improve their skills. He worked with the youth teams until 2015. In 2016, he became a coach for the main Shimizu S-Pulse team. This role allowed him to help professional players.
