Yoshito Terakawa (寺川 能人, Terakawa Yoshito, born September 6, 1974) is a former Japanese football player. He played as a midfielder for several clubs in Japan's top football leagues.

Yoshito Terakawa's Football Journey

Yoshito Terakawa was born in Hyogo Prefecture, Japan, on September 6, 1974. He started his professional football career after finishing high school.

Early Days and First Wins

In 1993, Yoshito joined Yokohama F. Marinos, a team in Japan's top football league, the J1 League. He made his debut as a central midfielder in 1995. That same year, his team, Yokohama Marinos, won the championship in the J1 League. Even though he was part of a winning team, he didn't play in every game.

Moving to New Teams

In 1999, Yoshito moved to another J1 League team, JEF United Ichihara. The next year, in 2000, he joined Albirex Niigata, which was in the J2 League (Japan's second-tier league). At Albirex Niigata, he became a regular player and played for the club for three seasons.

In 2003, his career took him to Oita Trinita. This team had just been promoted to the J1 League. Yoshito played in every single match during the 2003 season for Oita Trinita.

Later Career and Retirement

In 2004, Yoshito returned to Albirex Niigata, which had also been promoted to the J1 League. He played for Albirex Niigata for another five seasons, showing his dedication to the club.

In 2009, he moved to Shonan Bellmare, a J2 League team. He played in all their matches in 2009, helping the team get promoted to the J1 League. His experience was very valuable to the team.

Finally, in 2011, Yoshito joined FC Ryukyu, a team in the Japan Football League. He played there for two seasons before deciding to retire from professional football at the end of the 2012 season.
