Yoshiyuki Hasegawa (長谷川 祥之, Hasegawa Yoshiyuki, born 11 February 1969) is a former Japanese football player. He was a forward who played for the Japan national team. He is best known for his long and successful career with Kashima Antlers, where he helped the team win many important championships.

Hasegawa's Club Career

Yoshiyuki Hasegawa was born in Uji, Japan, on February 11, 1969. After finishing his studies at Osaka University of Economics, he began his professional football journey.

Early Days at Honda FC

In 1991, Hasegawa joined Honda, a club in the Japan Soccer League. He played there for a couple of years, gaining valuable experience.

Success with Kashima Antlers

In 1992, Hasegawa moved to Kashima Antlers, a team in the newly formed J1 League. This is where he spent most of his career and became a key player. He was known for being a regular starter throughout the 1990s.

His time at Kashima Antlers was very successful. In 2000, the club made history by winning all three major Japanese titles in one year: the J1 League, the J.League Cup, and the Emperor's Cup. This was the first time any team in the J.League had achieved such a "triple crown."

During his career with Kashima Antlers, the team won the J1 League four times, the J.League Cup three times, and the Emperor's Cup twice. Hasegawa retired from playing football in July 2003, leaving behind a legacy of success.

Playing for Japan

On February 15, 1995, he made his first appearance for the Japan national team in a match against Australia. He continued to be selected for the national team in 1996. In total, he played 6 games for Japan before his national team career ended in 1996.
