The Bus Fleet and Its History
Young's Bus Service started a long time ago in 1949. The founder, Stan Young, began with just one bus. This first bus was used for special trips.

By July 2021, the company had grown a lot. They had 42 buses in their fleet. These buses are easy to spot with their white and pink colors. Young's Bus Service also helps about 1,800 local school students. They provide daily bus services for these students.
A Big Change for the Company
In July 2021, the Young family made a big announcement. They sold the company to ComfortDelGro Australia. This sale ended over 70 years of Young's Bus Service being a local family business. ComfortDelGro Australia is a larger company. They said buying Young's Bus Service would help them grow. They already had 155 buses in Queensland. This purchase was a step to expand into other parts of regional Australia. ComfortDelGro also promised that all employees would keep their jobs.
easy-travel Fare Card
Young's Bus Service uses a special card for payments. It's called the easy-travel Fare Card. You can use this card to pay for your bus rides.
