Youngsville, Ohio facts for kids
Youngsville is a small place in Adams County, which is in the state of Ohio in the United States. It's called an unincorporated community, which means it doesn't have its own local government like a city or town does. Instead, it's part of the larger county.
How Youngsville Started
Youngsville began a long time ago, in the year 1840. A person named David Young was important because he opened a store there. This store helped the community grow.
A few years later, in 1848, a post office was opened in Youngsville. A post office is where people send and receive letters and packages. Having a post office was a big deal for the community, as it connected them to other places. The Youngsville post office stayed open for many years, until 1905.
