Your Hit Parade was a popular American music show. It was on the radio from 1935 to 1953. Later, it was also on television from 1950 to 1959. A company called American Tobacco helped pay for the show.
Over its 24 years, the show featured many talented people. There were 19 different orchestra leaders. Also, 52 singers or music groups performed on the show. Many people often called it The Hit Parade, but its official name was "Your Hit Parade." The show's title officially changed to "Your Hit Parade" on November 9, 1935.
