Yuichi Yoda (要田 勇一, Yoda Yuichi) is a Japanese former professional football player. He was born on June 25, 1977. Yuichi Yoda played as a forward, which is a player whose main job is to score goals. After his playing career, he became a manager. As of July 2025, he is the manager for the Nadeshiko League Div.1 club, NHK Spring Yokohama FC Seagulls.

Yuichi Yoda's Playing Career
Early Years and First Clubs
Yuichi Yoda was born in Hyogo Prefecture, Japan. After finishing high school, he started his professional football journey in 1996. His first club was Vissel Kobe, which was part of the Japan Football League at the time.
In 1996, Vissel Kobe finished second in their league. This success meant they were promoted to the J1 League in 1997. However, Yuichi Yoda did not get to play much in matches during his time at Vissel Kobe. He left the club at the end of the 1998 season.
Moving to New Teams
After taking a year off from football, Yuichi Yoda joined Yokohama FC in 2000. This club was also in the Japan Football League. Yokohama FC had a great year in 2000, winning the championship. This win led to their promotion to the J2 League in 2001.
Later in 2001, he moved to play for Shizuoka FC. This team played in the Japanese Regional Leagues, which are lower-level leagues in Japan. He also played for Central Kobe in the Regional Leagues until 2004.
Playing Abroad and Return to J.League
In 2004, Yuichi Yoda had an interesting experience. He moved to Paraguay to play for a club called Fernando la Mora. This was a chance for him to play football in a different country.
In October 2004, he returned to Japan. He joined JEF United Ichihara, which later became known as JEF United Chiba. He often played as a substitute forward for this team. During his time with JEF United Chiba, the team won the J.League Cup twice, in 2005 and 2006. These were big achievements for the club.
Later Career and Retirement
In 2007, Yuichi Yoda moved to AC Nagano Parceiro. This club was also in the Regional Leagues. At AC Nagano Parceiro, he became a regular player, meaning he played in most of the team's matches. He continued to play for them until the end of the 2010 season. After the 2010 season, Yuichi Yoda decided to retire from playing professional football.
