Yuki Furukawa (born December 18, 1987) is a Japanese actor. He became very popular for his role as Naoki Irie in the TV show Mischievous Kiss: Love in Tokyo in 2013. He also starred in its follow-up show, Mischievous Kiss 2: Love in Okinawa.

About Yuki Furukawa's Life
Yuki Furukawa was born in Tokyo, Japan, on December 18, 1987. When he was seven years old, his family moved to Canada. Later, at age 16, he moved to the United States for high school. After that, he came back to Japan to study Engineering at Keio University.
In June 2019, he shared that he was married and that he and his wife were going to have their first child. In October 2019, they announced the birth of their daughter. In April 2024, Yuki Furukawa announced on his Instagram that he left his agency, Horipro. He is now working as an independent actor.
Yuki Furukawa's Acting Career
Yuki Furukawa is well-known for his big role in the 2013 Japanese TV drama Mischievous Kiss: Love in Tokyo. In this show, he played the main character, Naoki Irie. He brought a fresh look to this famous manga character. He acted alongside Honoka Yahagi, who played his love interest.
His popularity grew very quickly in China. Within just two months of joining Weibo (a Chinese social media site), he had over 500,000 followers. Because he was so popular in China, he starred in Mysterious Summer. This was the first TV show made together by Japan and China. The show was watched more than 60 million times on a Chinese online video platform called iQiyi. It was also shown online in over 35 countries around the world.
Yuki Furukawa was the first Japanese actor to hold a fan meeting in Shanghai, China. This special event happened on July 21, 2013.
