Yuri Zisser (Belarusian: Юрый Анатольевіч Зісер, Russian: Юрий Анатольевич Зиссер, June 28, 1960 – May 17, 2020) was a smart and creative person from Belarus. He was a computer expert and a business leader. He is best known for starting and owning TUT.by. This was the most popular website in Belarus.
About Yuri Zisser
Yuri Zisser was born in Lviv, a city in Ukraine. He grew up in a Jewish family. He went to college in Leningrad and studied engineering. In 1987, he moved to Minsk, which is in Belarus.
His Business Ventures
In 1992, Yuri Zisser started his own company. It was called Nadezhnye programmy, which means "Reliable Programs" in Russian. This company helped people with computer software.
He was also a frequent judge for a contest called SocialWeekend. This contest helped new social projects get started.
Books and Legacy
Yuri Zisser wrote several books. These books taught people about how to market things online. They also covered how to sell computer software.
Sadly, Yuri Zisser passed away on May 17, 2020. He was 59 years old.
