Yusaku Tanioku (谷奥 優作, Tanioku Yusaku, born October 18, 1978) is a former Japanese football player. He played as a defender during his career.

Playing Football
Yusaku Tanioku was born in Nabari, Japan, on October 18, 1978. After finishing high school, he began his professional football journey.
Early Career: Ventforet Kofu
In 1997, Tanioku joined Ventforet Kofu, a team in the Japan Football League. This league was a step below Japan's top professional league. In 1999, Ventforet Kofu became part of a new, higher league called the J2 League.
Tanioku started playing more matches from 1999 onwards. By 2000, he became a regular player for the team, often playing as a side back. He stayed with Ventforet Kofu until 2002.
Moving to Tokushima Vortis
In 2003, Tanioku moved to another team, Otsuka Pharmaceutical. This team was also in the Japan Football League. He played many games for them.
In 2004, his team won the championship in the Japan Football League. Because they won, they were promoted to the J2 League in 2005. Tanioku continued to play for them in the J2 League that year.
Later Career: Sagawa Shiga
In 2006, Tanioku joined Sagawa Express Osaka, which was another team in the Japan Football League. He played many matches during his first year with the team.
Later, the team changed its name to Sagawa Shiga. From 2007 onwards, Tanioku played fewer matches. He decided to retire from professional football at the end of the 2009 season.
