Yutaka Takahashi (born September 29, 1980) is a former Japanese football player. He played as a forward, which means he was mainly responsible for scoring goals for his team.

Yutaka Takahashi's Football Journey

Yutaka Takahashi was born in Machida, Japan, on September 29, 1980. After finishing high school, he started his professional football career in 1999.

Early Career with Sanfrecce Hiroshima

  • In 1999, Yutaka joined Sanfrecce Hiroshima, a club in the top Japanese league, J1 League.
  • He quickly became an important player, playing in many games as a forward.
  • He scored 20 goals for the club during his time there.
  • However, after 2002, he played less often.

Moving to New Clubs

  • In 2004, Yutaka moved to Omiya Ardija, a club in the J2 League (the second division). He played as a substitute but didn't get much playing time.
  • The next year, 2005, he joined JEF United Chiba in the J1 League. He hardly played any matches there.

Success with Roasso Kumamoto

  • In 2006, Yutaka moved to Japan Football League (JFL) club Rosso Kumamoto. The JFL was a lower league.
  • This move was a great success for him! He became a regular player and scored many goals.
  • His great performance helped the club get promoted to the J2 League in 2008.
  • He scored an impressive 63 goals for Roasso Kumamoto.

Later Career and Retirement

  • After 2015, he played less often. Yutaka Takahashi decided to retire from professional football at the end of the 2015 season.
