Yutaka Takahashi (高橋 泰, Takahashi Yutaka, born September 29, 1980) is a former Japanese football player. He played as a forward, which means he was usually trying to score goals for his team.

Yutaka Takahashi was born in Machida, Tokyo on September 29, 1980. After finishing high school, he started his professional football career in 1999.

Early Career with Sanfrecce Hiroshima

Takahashi joined Sanfrecce Hiroshima, a club in the top Japanese league, J1 League. He played a lot as a forward right from the start. He helped his team reach the final of the Emperor's Cup in 1999. However, after 2002, he didn't get to play as much.

Moving to New Teams

In 2004, Yutaka moved to Omiya Ardija, a team in the J2 League. He played as a substitute but still didn't get many chances on the field. The next year, 2005, he joined JEF United Chiba. While there, his team won the J.League Cup in 2005, which was a big achievement. However, he hardly played in any matches himself.

Success with Roasso Kumamoto

In 2006, Takahashi moved to Japan Football League (JFL) club Rosso Kumamoto. This was a turning point for him. He became a regular player and scored many goals for the team. His great performance helped the club get promoted to the J2 League in 2008.

Later Career and Retirement

In 2009, Yutaka Takahashi joined another J2 club, Avispa Fukuoka. He played many matches for them over four seasons. In 2013, he moved to Ehime FC, but again, he didn't play much. Later that year, he joined Kamatamare Sanuki in the JFL. He played many games there, and the club was promoted to J2 in 2014. After 2015, he didn't get to play as often, and he decided to retire from football at the end of the 2015 season.
