Yuya Sano (佐野 裕哉, Sano Yūya, born April 22, 1982) is a Japanese football player. He plays as a midfielder, which is a player who helps both defend and attack on the field. Yuya Sano has played for many different football clubs throughout his career in Japan.

Yuya Sano's Football Journey
Yuya Sano was born in Shizuoka, Japan, on April 22, 1982. He loved football from a young age. After finishing high school at Shimizu Commercial High School, he began his professional football career.
Starting His Professional Career
In 2001, Yuya Sano joined J1 League club Tokyo Verdy. The J1 League is the top professional football league in Japan. He made his first appearance in 2002. However, he faced some challenges early on due to injuries, which limited how many games he could play.
Moving Through the Leagues
In 2004, Yuya Sano moved to Shonan Bellmare, a club in the J2 League. The J2 League is the second-highest professional league in Japan. Here, he got more chances to play and showed his skills over two seasons.
After that, in 2006, he joined V-Varen Nagasaki. This team was in the Japanese Regional Leagues, which are lower-level leagues. Yuya Sano played very well for them, scoring many goals in two seasons.
Promotions and New Teams
In 2008, Yuya Sano moved to New Wave Kitakyushu. This club was in the Japan Football League, which is another important league below the J-Leagues. He became a key player for the team. Since 2018, Yuya Sano has been playing for J.FC Miyazaki, which is a club in the Regional Leagues. He continues to be an active player in Japanese football.
