He quickly moved up, becoming a chief engineer in 1993 and a general engineer by 2003, when he was only 43 years old.

In 1997, he became the director of a professional agency in Boulogne-Billancourt. Later, in 2001, he became a regional director in Picardy, focusing on how services were delivered to customers.
Innovations in Television and Internet
Because of his knowledge about how TV could be delivered through internet lines (called ADSL), he moved to Paris in 2004. There, he took charge of a special team called MaLigne TV, which later became Orange TV. This team focused on bringing television services to homes through internet connections.
Leading Télécom Paris
In 2007, he briefly managed operations in the Ile de France region. However, in the same year, he was appointed director of Télécom Paris in Paris. This was a major role where he led one of France's top engineering schools.
