Zac Saddler (born 16 June 1999) is an Australian professional rugby league player. He plays as a forward, which means he is one of the strong players who help gain ground and tackle opponents. Currently, he plays for the Mudgee Dragons team in the Western Premiership.
Zac also played for the Indigenous All Stars team in 2020 and 2021. This team is made up of top Indigenous Australian rugby league players.
Zac's Rugby Journey
Starting in the NRL
Zac Saddler played his first big game in the National Rugby League (NRL) in 2021. He made his debut for the Manly Sea Eagles team. This game was against the New Zealand Warriors at Brookvale Oval.
A Serious Injury
During a game in 2021, Zac had a serious injury. He was playing for Manly against the Newcastle Knights when he got hurt. He had to go to the hospital for treatment.
Moving to New Teams
After his time with Manly, Zac Saddler left the club in October 2021. In 2022, he played for the Canberra Raiders in the NSW Cup. This is a competition below the main NRL level.
In 2023, Zac moved to France to play for XIII Limouxin. This team competes in the Elite One Championship. In 2024, Zac returned to Australia and signed with the Mudgee Dragons.
