Zachary Adam Whedon (born August 14, 1979), often known as Zack Whedon, is an American writer and director. He writes for movies, TV shows, and even comic books!

Zack's Early Life
Zack grew up in a family of talented writers. His father, Tom Whedon, and his grandfather, John Whedon, were both screenwriters. His brothers, Jed Whedon and Joss Whedon, are also well-known writers and directors.
He studied film at Wesleyan University, graduating in 2002. While there, he was the president of the Eclectic Society.
Zack's Career in TV and Film
Zack's first job in television was as a production assistant. He worked on the TV series Angel, which was created by his brother Joss.
Later, Zack joined the team for the HBO western drama Deadwood. He started as an assistant to the show's executive producer, David Milch, for the first two seasons (2004-2005).
In 2006, he became a writer for Deadwood's third and final season. He helped write the episode "Amateur Night." Zack and the other writers were even nominated for an award for their work on the show!
He also wrote for and acted in an episode of Milch's next series, John from Cincinnati.
Creating Dr. Horrible and Other Shows
Zack worked with his brothers Joss and Jed to create Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog. This was a popular online musical comedy.
He has also written for other well-known TV shows. These include the FOX science-fiction series Fringe and the AMC drama Rubicon.
Writing for Comics
In 2014, Zack started writing for Dark Horse Comics. He wrote Serenity: Leaves on the Wind, a six-issue comic book series. This comic continued the story of his brother Joss's popular TV show Firefly and its movie, Serenity. The comic picks up about 39 weeks after the movie ends.
Zack also worked as a producer for the TV dramas The Red Road and Halt and Catch Fire.
Zack's Personal Life
In 2012, Zack Whedon married screenwriter and playwright Eliza Clark. They met while they were both writing for the TV series Rubicon.
