Zahurul Islam Khan is a politician from Bangladesh. He has been a part of different political parties, including Bikalpa Dhara Bangladesh and the Bangladesh Nationalist Party. He was chosen to be a Member of Parliament (MP) for the Mymensingh-9 area in February 1996. An MP is someone elected by people to represent them in the country's main law-making body.

Becoming a Member of Parliament
Zahurul Islam Khan first became a Member of Parliament (MP) on 15 February 1996. He was elected from the Mymensingh-9 area. At that time, he was a candidate for the Bangladesh Nationalist Party.
Joining Different Parties
After his first election, Mr. Khan joined another political group called the Jatiya Party. He ran for election again on 12 June 1996, but he did not win the Mymensingh-9 seat that time.
Later, in 2004, he decided to join the Bikalpa Dhara Bangladesh party. He continued to be involved in politics and ran for the Mymensingh-9 seat again in the 2008 national election. However, he was not elected in that election either.
