Zarate (Basque pronunciation: [s̻aɾate], Spanish: Zárate [ˈθaɾate]) is a hamlet and concejo located in the municipality of Zuia, in Álava province, Basque Country, Spain. It is located 20 km north-northwest of Vitoria-Gasteiz.
